Club Presidency

First of all a huge thank you to Eric Smith, who has served as Club President for the past two years. Eric has provided invaluable support to the club and in particular help and guidance to newcomers, organising Leagues and Friendly matches, as well as treating club members on Presidents Day to a fish’n chips supper each year. Supported by his lovely wife Helen, together they have been consistently an unwavering tower of support in so many behind-the-scene ways such as cleaning the clubhouse, providing lovely home-made cakes and helping members with lifts to away matches to name but a few.
New President for 2026

Today, Terri Beech, a long-time member, took over the Club Presidency. She’s already making plans to put her own spin on things, promising club members an exciting and busy year ahead. We wish Terri good luck and look forward to the various events planned.

Today we also had our ‘Signing up’ morning and were delighted to see so many turn up in support of the club. Terri gave a welcome speach and again, thanked Eric for all he has done for the club in past years.
We now eagerly await geting back on the rinks in April when we officially re-open and hope to welcome any new members then. Do get in touch if you’d like to learn more about us or pop into the clubhouse in the town gardens in April, you can be sure of a warm welcome:)
